Pallet boxes

Isothermal pallet boxes validated in our climatic chambers to standard NF S99 700 for transporting several hundred liters of product for up to 96 hours.

Cold accumulator

Cold accumulators are the energy source needed to keep self-contained packaging running smoothly. They can be flexible or rigid, and can be used to maintain different temperature ranges: frozen, fresh or ambient products.

Reusable solution

Our reusable solutions are designed to be sturdy, washable and ergonomic. They are equipped with handles and straps for transport, document holder windows, and can be reinforced if required. They can be kept at temperature for several days.

Eco-box

A range of isothermal packaging made from 100% corrugated cardboard. It enables heat-sensitive products to be transported in compliance with the cold chain for 24-hour periods.

What are the constraints in the logistics sector?

The logistics sector has undeniable dimensional constraints. Who hasn’t heard of the 80x120cm or 100c120cm pallet standards? Beyond this basic notion, there are a huge number of constraints linked to the fact that logistics resources have been rationalized according to these dimensions, but also according to the constraints linked to the different modes of transport. Whether by rail, road or sea, each means of transport and each logistical stage has its own dimensional constraints.

The constraints will also come from the duration of transport: a 24-hour journey by road, or a sea convoy lasting several weeks: isothermal packaging will not be designed and thought out in the same way.

How efficient are these high-volume packs?

The isothermal packaging developed by Isovation is designed to provide the right performance for the transport requirement. A package is efficient when the cold chain is respected: if the solution is too efficient, too much cold could cause the transported product to freeze!
We test each of our logistics solutions in our climatic chambers, in accordance with the NFS99700 standard. The solutions are validated according to several different temperature profiles: summer, mid-season, winter, with different preparation configurations: in summer, the cold accumulators are frozen, while in winter they are inserted fresh, to maintain a temperature of 2/8°C.
For our logistics solutions, cold accumulators are present in large quantities in isothermal packaging, due to their large size. To facilitate the various stages of cold accumulator handling, we insert them in cardboard sleeves so that they can be handled 3 at a time.
