Isovation has just been awarded the MORE label: MObilisés pour REcycler.
This European label recognizes the efforts of plastics manufacturers to promote the circular economy and the integration of recycled plastics.
By using locally-sourced recycled polymers for the past 30 years, we have helped to reduce our carbon footprint: consumption of virgin plastic (fossil fuels) is reduced, and every tonne of recycled plastic that replaces one tonne of petroleum-based material corresponds to 3 tonnes of carbon savings (source: SRP).
Beyond this label, we have been committed to sustainable and eco-responsible production for 30 years:
Product optimization :
– Tailor-made solutions,
– Solutions that can be completely dismantled for material recycling,
– Efficient use of materials, reducing the number of Icepacks per solution,
– Range of reusable products for purchase or rental, reducing costs and environmental impact.
Optimizing production techniques :
– Optimized cutting of raw materials to reduce manufacturing waste,
– Use of UV inks: elimination of solvents
– Use of recycled materials,
– Manufacture of 100% recyclable material (monomaterial).
Distribution optimization :
– Flatbed delivery for logistical savings (transport/storage)
– Stand-alone solutions: use of non-refrigerated trucks.
In 2020, we are developing materials based on biosourced raw materials, with the aim of offering a 100% biodegradable, compostable isothermal solution.
We’re proud to be able to display this label, but we’re convinced that we need to go beyond recycling.
Recycling means waste.
