Description
Isothermal solution validated in climatic chambers to NF S99 700 standard. Allows frozen products to be transported for up to 72 hours.
This isothermal solution consists of an Isostrat outer box (3mm XPS foam), inner insulation (60mm to 60mm XPS foam panels) and phase-change cold accumulators at -21°C.
These solutions are validated according to the ST-72b profiles of the NFS 99 700 standard.
The benefits
Autonomous solution: when the cold accumulators are inserted in the packaging, it is autonomous, keeping products frozen for 72 hours without the need for additional energy.
The temperature of the product inside the packaging is controlled.

Frozen isothermal packaging for transporting medicines for 72 hours is capable of guaranteeing a temperature close to -18°C, even with strong external variations. Isothermal packaging is effective for 72 hours, helping to transport, store and protect products safely (vaccines). We’re talking here about validated isothermal frozen packaging for medicines with a 72-hour shelf-life and an efficiency of -18°C, which offers the possibility of transporting medical products over a long distance, making it easier to distribute medicines between hospitals or pharmacies across the country, whatever the outside temperature.
To guarantee an effective -18°C over a 72-hour period, there are various cold packs (flexible, rigid, hydratable) capable of guaranteeing a temperature for a certain period of time. In our case, we have a deep-frozen isothermal package for transporting medicines for a period of 72 hours, in order to achieve -18°C. To achieve this, we’ll be using solid, high-performance cold packs capable of providing sufficient cold at -18°C over a 72-hour period.
The role of cold blocks is to act as thermal stabilizers, i.e. if there is too much or too little, the frozen product, which will be a medicine, can be more effective and dangerous because the temperature is no longer controlled.
We can determine the exact number of cold blocks to facilitate heat exchange in a frozen isothermal drug pack, using high-performance simulation software to guarantee the best performance from your frozen isothermal drug pack.
Tailor-made packaging doesn’t have to scare you, because it can open up the prospect of unique, validated isothermal packaging for frozen medical products. To put it simply, we can offer you different sample solutions for protecting, storing and transporting your products, adapting the 72h -18°C medical isothermal packaging to your product dimensions.
Made-to-measure is not necessarily more expensive, as the dimensions of your packaging may differ from those of validated isothermal packaging, so your packaging will be evaluated in terms of quantity of materials, labor, machinery, printing, etc…
Of course, your isothermal packaging for frozen medicinal products for 72-hour performance at -18°C will be tested and certified to standards such as NFS99-700 for tests in climatic chambers.
If you have a custom-built package, it is our obligation and our duty to carry out tests in a climatic chamber to validate and certify your isothermal packaging for frozen medical products.
If you have a specific time and temperature requirement, we can carry out a software simulation and precisely implement your time and temperature constraints in a climatic chamber.
Our design department will tailor packaging to suit your needs: transport time, handles, pre-cutting, tear-off strip…
Need specific validation?
Our climatic chambers test the performance of your isothermal packaging, including for other uses, products or destinations.
To personalize your isothermal packaging (logo, slogan, recycling info, contact details), our graphics department will work with you to validate your artwork. Packaging that reflects your corporate image.
I need to ship heat-sensitive products, but I’m not familiar with the subject. I need advice on organization, equipment and good distribution practices.
