Description
Isothermal solution validated in climatic chambers to NF S99 700 standard. Allows products to be transported at sub-zero temperatures for up to 48 hours.
This isothermal solution comprises an outer box made of Isostrat (3mm XPS foam), inner insulation (60mm XPS foam panels) and phase-change cold accumulators at -21°C.
This solution is validated according to profile ST-48b of standard NFS 99 700.
The benefits
Autonomous solution: when the cold accumulators are inserted in the packaging, it is autonomous, keeping products frozen for 48 hours without the need for additional energy.
The temperature of the product inside the packaging is controlled.

Validated frozen isothermal packaging for transporting medicines at -18°C for 48 hours is ideal for maintaining the cold chain at temperatures below -18°C. The 48-hour period can be ideal for long transport routes, to facilitate delays, storage, etc.
As we’re talking about isothermal packaging for health, it’s totally possible to transport medicines such as vaccines, health products, etc…
The cold chain for isothermal packaging of frozen medical products for 48 hours, with an efficiency of -18°C, is the succession of all the logistical stages from the packaging of your product to delivery to the end customer.
If any link in the cold chain is not respected, then your product will have lost all efficiency. That’s why our packaging comes with instructions for use, to make it easier to understand our isothermal packaging for frozen medical products.
Custom-made packaging may be more expensive in some cases, but with every isothermal package, it’s possible that the validated solution isn’t adapted to your needs. That’s why we’re able to offer you solutions based on your constraints of size, shape, etc.
Custom-made packaging is accompanied and followed by several tests in standardized climatic chambers to qualify the packaging for customer conformity. The tests carried out can also be directly linked to your logistical, time and temperature constraints to ensure the cold chain.
Yes, it’s even highly recommended when you have a customized product to have an overview and isothermal packaging in your hands to facilitate the exchange between customer and producer to be able to offer the maximum of our services in a clear and precise way of your expectations for isothermal packaging with an effectiveness of 72h at a temperature of 15/25°C.
In the case of isothermal packaging validated for the transport of 48h -18°C deep-frozen medicines, solid cold accumulators are available to guarantee the required efficiency of -18°C over a 48-hour period. A certain number of these are mandatory. The number of thermal stabilizers is a way of effectively controlling the product’s internal temperature.
For an efficiency close to -18°C, a certain number are required, and if you have a specific request, we can offer you a simulation of the number of cold packs for your solution. Of course, we carry out tests to confirm the simulation and provide greater certainty about the performance of isothermal packaging, using a standard (NF S99-700) and profiles appropriate to your period. It is also possible to carry out real tests with your product routing between your point of departure and your point of arrival, including all logistical stages.
Our design department will tailor packaging to suit your needs: transport time, handles, pre-cutting, tear-off strip…
Need specific validation?
Our climatic chambers test the performance of your isothermal packaging, including for other uses, products or destinations.
To personalize your isothermal packaging (logo, slogan, recycling info, contact details), our graphics department will work with you to validate your artwork. Packaging that reflects your corporate image.
