Description
Isothermal solution validated in climatic chambers to NF S99 700 standard. Allows transport of refrigerated products at 2/8°C for up to 96 hours.
This isothermal solution consists of an outer box made of Isostrat (3mm XPS foam), inner insulation (60mm XPS foam panels), an inner thermal barrier made of Isostrat (5 to 10mm), and phase-change cold accumulators at 0°C.
These solutions are validated in accordance with profiles ST-96 a / b and d of standard NFS 99 700.
The benefits
Stand-alone solution: when the cold accumulators are inserted in the packaging, it is self-sufficient, preserving fresh produce for 96 hours without the need for additional energy.
The temperature of the product inside the packaging is controlled.

Validated isothermal packaging guarantees insulating performance. This insulating performance, validated by our research department, is characterized by a 96-hour shelf-life and a refrigerated temperature range that will be respected whatever the transport conditions. We are equipped with climatic chambers and temperature probes: during a 96-hour validation test, the chamber regulates different temperature levels, and the temperature probes continuously record the temperature at different points on the isothermal packaging throughout the test. These tests are carried out several times under different thermal simulations: summer, winter and mid-season. The 2/8°C 96h validated isothermal packaging will maintain your products at a refrigerated temperature of between 2 and 8°C for a total of 96 hours, at any time of the year.
All heat-sensitive products that need to be kept between 2 and 8°C, with a maximum shelf-life of 96 hours, can be transported in our isothermal packaging. These may include healthcare products (medicines, blood samples, vaccines, etc.).
Validated isothermal packaging consists of an insulated box into which insulation reinforcements, cold accumulators and wedges are inserted. All our isothermal packaging is delivered flat-packed to optimize your transport and storage costs, but we can also organize assembly in our workshops.
When packing your heat-sensitive products in our isothermal packaging, simply open the lid and insert the cold accumulators and your products. At this point, the 96-hour preservation period begins. The role of the accumulators is to diffuse cold throughout the 96h inside the packaging. XPS insulation reinforcements provide the necessary level of insulation to prevent the accumulators from running out too quickly, and thus avoid overloading the packaging with doses of cold. As for the padding, it is used to organize the interior space of the isothermal packaging to create precise locations for the cold accumulators and, above all, to avoid direct contact with your products so that they don’t freeze. Indeed, many healthcare products lose their properties at 0°C, such as vaccines and certain medicines.
Our design department will tailor packaging to suit your needs: transport time, handles, pre-cutting, tear-off strip…
Need specific validation?
Our climatic chambers test the performance of your isothermal packaging, including for other uses, products or destinations.
To personalize your isothermal packaging (logo, slogan, recycling info, contact details), our graphics department will work with you to validate your artwork. Packaging that reflects your corporate image.
I need to ship heat-sensitive products, but I’m not familiar with the subject. I need advice on organization, equipment and good distribution practices.
